How to Share a File in OneDrive/SharePoint with an External Recipient or Student Email
If you are having trouble sharing files from OneDrive or SharePoint with another campus member, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Select the file or folder you would like to share and click Share at the top of the screen. Then click on Copy link.

2. A new window will open. Click on People with existing access can use the link.

3. In the Link Settings window, click on Specific People

4. Enter the email addresses you would like to share the file or folder with. Under Other settings, select the permission level you would like the user(s) to have. Once finished, click Apply.

5. Copy and share the link with those who you have previously given access. When a user clicks the link, they will have to verify their email address to access the file.
