From your device on campus you should be able to see a the Wi-Fi network called "Curry-Device". This network is for devices without normal Windows, Macintosh or mobile phone style wireless configuration options. These devices are unable to use Username/Password authentication (WPA2-Enterprise) on the "Curry-Secure" Wi-Fi Network. The Curry-Device Wi-Fi uses a standard Wi-Fi password and requires MAC address approval. The MAC address (of the Wi-Fi adapter) has to be entered into the backend system by a member of the ITS team. The Curry-Device network is able to access the Internet but no internal Curry Servers. You can submit a request for your mac to be added using this service request: https://support.curry.edu/support/catalog/items/69
Once your service request is completed you can connect to the Curry-Device network using a Wi-Fi password we call a "Pre-shared key". Currently, the Pre-shared key is: ISP@foggy0keys
Your mac address registration will expire on June 1 and you can submit another request for it to be added after that date.
TIPS:
Some devices have multiple MAC addresses associated with them or the MAC address could be hard to read. If you can connect to the Curry-Device network but you cannot access any network resources (or the internet) your MAC address may not have been entered correctly. Double-check that you have submitted the Wi-Fi MAC address correctly and resubmit your request to the helpdesk potentially attach a picture for greater readabilitiy.
If you can't connect to the Curry-Device network at all the issue is most likely that the Pre-Shared Key was entered incorrectly or the key has changed. Try to re-enter the key exactly as above, there are no upper case letter O's however there may be a Zero "0".
